About Rivertown

Rivertown will be opening in September 2024!

We are renting the building at 142 West Main Street, and will be opening our studios and offering programming in mid-September.

We are currently fundraising to purchase supplies for our Studio and Youth Studio. Please consider contributing to our GoFundMe fundraiser, or signing up to become a member.

We are have been incorporated as a nonprofit by the State of Maine, and are currently awaiting 501(c)3 status through the IRS.

Rivertown is a membership-based community arts center, and some of our funding is from Membership fees. Click here to learn more about Memberships and sign up.

We continue to gather information from families, community members, and groups about what they would like to see at a local community arts center. Please contact us with ideas about programs you’d love to attend, or if you have a skill that you’d like to share (and get paid to do so!).

If you would like to volunteer, please contact us to find out what roles we have available.
